NOOO! Keanu as Spike??

Just to let everyone know this is not brand new news to me, but the shock was amplified a few minutes ago when I read that KEANU HIMSELF confirmed involvement on the live-action movie version of Cowboy Bebop.

This is -for most CB fans- a catastrophe. Reeves is possibly the worst pick for a character possessing emotional traits he is incapable of expressing. Go ahead and rewatch the series to figure out why. I did. With each passing episode you will grow sadder and sadder as the realization hits you hard.

Reeves - worst choice ever.

I will still hold an inkling hope as this article only confirms **his involvement**. Will he be cast as another character? Is he perhaps producing? A rumor was flying around that Leonardo DiCaprio was going to play the lead in Akira, but he recently denied it saying he was only producing.

And IF Reeves will indeed be Spike, let's just say he better fucking deliver.
